Enter the record that one or more Preventative Maintenance task (Service Codes 01 through 10) have been done.

Before entering data, you must know the vehicle
number, the date and time of the event, and the odometer reading at the time of
the event you are recording.
Enter data as follows:

1. VEHICLE NUMBER |
Enter: Up to 6* alphanumeric characters to indicate the inventory number. Press Shift F7 to access the Vehicle File Search. EXAMPLE: Type 262 (RET) If the inventory number does not exist, the data entered is checked against the vehicle license plate numbers on file. A match of either the vehicle number or the license plate will bring the vehicle record to the screen User tip - Check digits: If your Control Files are set to require a vehicle check digit, enter up to 7 alphanumeric characters. The seventh or last character will be one of the following: 1. For Hertz licensees, the last character of the vehicle number is the standard Hertz check digit. 2. For all other users, the check digit is the last character of the vehicle license number. After the check digit is entered and used to validate the vehicle number, it is automatically erased off the screen. EXAMPLE: Type 914592A (RET) |

Enter a Service Code from the range 01 to 10 or press Shift/F7 to view a list of those codes. EXAMPLE: Type 1 (RET) |
After entering a vehicle number and service Code, various information will display:

| 3. CURR PM ODOM |
Enter up to 6 numeric characters to indicate the odometer reading
which existed at the time of the event being recorded. Realize that when entering past events, the reading you will enter will be less than the
'Last Odom" reading displayed. User Tip: If the odometer entered here is "excessively" different that the current odometer, (see User Tip below) the following question will be displayed:
User tip: The field labeled "HSTUPM Odom Diff" in Edit Misc Control Fields labeled is used to define how much of a difference is considered "excessive". |

4. DATE |
Using your selected date format, enter the date of event. This date should correspond to the date the odometer reading was taken. Press RET to default to today's date. EXAMPLE: Type 033116 (RET) |

5. TIME |
Using your selected time format, enter the time of the event. Press RET to default to the current time. EXAMPLE: Type 0930 (RET) |
| 6. REPAIR CODES |
Access to this field is restricted to users who have been granted access via the field labeled "Repair Access Level" in Edit Miscellaneous Control Fields and their menu access in Edit User Access File. Enter up to five 2 character Repair Codes separated by commas. If one of the Repair Codes has been defined as covering a major maintenance task (such as 30,000 mile service):

Enter:Y = Yes, update the odometer to the reading entered in Field 3.EXAMPLE: Type N (RET) |
