Use this program to merge updates of corporate contract data from an ascii file into CARS+.

If a record already exists in CARS+, fields with data from the data being merged will update the record in CARS+. If a record does not already exist in CARS+, a new record is written.

To access the program, type UPDCONT (RET) at any menu "OPTION:" field or the appropriate number on the Corporate Accounts Sub-Menu of the Customer Maintenance Menu. The screen will then display:

OPTION: __ MERGE CONTRACT FILE 1. Enter Complete Path Name for CONFIL: 1PRINT 2 3ERASE 4 5 6 7HELP 8

Enter data as follows:

1. PATHNAME

Enter the complete path name to the directory where the ascii file named CONFIL reside.

PRESS "F1" AT "OPTION:" TO BEGIN.
