Some Hertz operations do an automated fleet feed from CARS+ to the CARRENT system in OKC. Two of the required fields for the feed are the "Acquisition Code" field and the "Depreciation Status Code" field in the Vehicle Inventory record. This program is used to set up acquisition and Depreciation Status codes.

To access the program, type CARRNT (RET) at any menu "OPTION:" field or the appropriate number on the Hertz Control Files Menu. The screen will then display:

Enter data as follows:

1. CODE	Enter 2 a valid characters Hertz Acquisition Code or MCO Code. EXAMPLE: Type FD (RET)
2. TYPE	This field is reserved for a future enhancement.
3. DESCRIPTION	Enter up to 30 alphanumeric characters for the description. EXAMPLE: Type DEALER BUYBACK (RET)
4. REQUIRE GROUND	Enter: Y = Yes, this code requires that the vehicle be grounded. N = No. The vehicle is not required to be grounded. EXAMPLE: Type (RET)
