Use this program to obtain a report of records in the Lost and Found Tracking file.

Entries are made in the file to track personal items that are found in rental vehicles so that they can be returned to their owner.

To access this program, type LOSTRPT at any menu "OPTION:" field or the appropriate line number on the Lost and Found Tracking Sub-menu of the History/Maintenance Menu. The screen will then display:

Enter data as follows:

1. LOCATION
Enter up to 6 alphanumeric characters representing the location reporting the loss. Or press (RET) to include all locations.

EXAMPLE: Press (RET)

2. STATUS
Enter what status of records should be included in the report. Enter:

Blank = open lost and found records
1 = items reclaimed by client
2 = items unclaimed and disposed of
ALL = all tickets regardless of status

EXAMPLE: Press (RET)

3. START DATE
Using your selected date format, enter the starting found date. Press RET to default to today's date.

EXAMPLE: Type 111508 (RET)

4. END DATE
Using your selected date format, enter the ending found date. Press RET to default to today's date.

EXAMPLE: Press (RET)

5. PRINT/ DISPLAY
Enter:

P= Print a copy of this report on your terminal's assigned printer or send as an e-mail. See the Edit Terminal Records Chapter for instructions on how to assign printers and send reports as e-mails.

D = Display this report on the terminal screen. See the General Data Entry Instructions chapter for details on how to control the screen display.

The following data prints for each record reported:

Ticket number
Status
Found date
Short description
License plate number, model code, and color of the vehicle
Location reporting the found item
Probable RA #
Customer's first and last names
Customer's phone number
