This program is part of the logic for processing toll charges. RMS is a vendor who furnishes transponders which are installed in the rental vehicles in order to track them for the purpose of processing toll charges. When the transponder number is entered in the vehicle record in the Alt ID# field, (or changed or removed), it generates a Service Code 'X6' record in the Vehicle History File.

Use this program to send vehicle data to RMS. It examines the Vehicle History File for open records (records without a close date/time) under Service Code 'X6'.

Once the records are transmitted, the Vehicle History records are updated by entering the current system date and time in the 'Close Date' and 'Close Time' fields. Because the records will then be closed, they will not be transmitted again. (This Output program ignores closed 'X6' records.)

To access the program, type SNDTAG (RET) at any menu "OPTION:" field or the appropriate number on the Import/Export Data Menu. The screen will then display:
