Hertz CRM has specific multiple character codes for indicating the language of the message being sent. Use this program to map the one character CARS+ language Codes of the codes used by CRM

To access the program, type EDLANG (RET) at any menu "OPTION:" field or the appropriate number on the Hertz Control Files Menu 2. The screen will then display:

Enter data as follows:

1. LANGUAGE CODE	Enter single character language code that is used in CARS+ EXAMPLE: E (RET)
2. DESCRIPTION	Enter up to 20 alphanumeric characters for the description of this language. EXAMPLE: Type AMERICAN ENGLISH (RET)
3. TRANSMITTED LANGUAGE CODE	Enter up to 2 alphanumeric characters for the corresponding Language Code used by CRM (ISO Language Code). EXAMPLE: Type EN (RET)
4. LANGUAGE TYPE	If the language code entered into Field 3 exists with different regional variations, enter the code for the region this language is spoken. EXAMPLE: Type US (RET) So combining Fields 3 and 4, EN-US would be English as spoken in the United States.
5. CRM LANGUAGE CODE	If the language code entered into Field 1 should trigger two different languages in the external system, enter up to 2 alphanumeric characters for the second corresponding Language Code used by CRM. EXAMPLE: Type FR (RET)
6. CARFIR LANGUAGE CODE	If the language code entered into Field 5 exists with different regional variation, enter the code for the region this language is spoken. EXAMPLE: Type CN (RET)
7. USE IN CRM POPUP
