This program is used to make global changes of Coverage Codes on the Fleet Inventory File. An old code is entered along with a new code. All vehicles in the fleet can be selected or a range of vehicles can be specified. The program then converts all vehicles within the specified range from the old Coverage Code to the new one.

Prior to using this program the new Coverage Code must exist in the Coverage Code File.

To access this program, type CHGCVG(RET) at any menu "OPTION:" field or the appropriate line number from the Fleet Control File menu. The screen will display as follows:

Enter data as follows:

1. OLD CODE

Enter the old coverage code that you want to switch from.

EXAMPLE: Type 3 (RET)

2. NEW CODE

Enter the new coverage code that you want to switch to.

EXAMPLE: Type 9 (RET)

3. START VEH #

Enter the vehicle number for the beginning of the range that will be changed. Press (RET) to default to the FIRST vehicle in the fleet.

EXAMPLE: Press (RET)

4. END VEH #

Enter the vehicle number for the end of the range that will be changed. Press (RET) to default to the LAST vehicle in the fleet.

EXAMPLE: Press (RET)

The screen will display as follows:

In addition to changing the Coverage Code in the Vehicle File, the Coverage Code is also changed in the Model Code File.
