Transaction Logging
CARS+ has two levels of transaction logging. The level used is controlled by a field in the Edit Miscellaneous Control Fields File:
Manual Logging - Under this setting, only those changes made by a user to a field that had a previously supplied value are logged. These changes can be divided into two types:
a. Changes to saved data.
b. Changes to data supplied by the system, but not yet saved.
Partial Logging - Under this setting, more types of saved data changes are recorded than the Manual setting. However, changes to data supplied by the system prior to saving are NOT logged. This setting should be used only for a short period of time if it is necessary to see more detail than is available under the Manual setting.
