DBR Days - chargeable rental days

In some cases, the numbers for "reservations filled" and "RAs opened from reservations" may not agree:

Different Opening Location

Customer has a reservation for Location A, but shows up at Location B to rent. In this case, Location A will show that the Reservation was "Filled" but there will not be a RA that opened at the location. Location B will show that the RA opened at their location from a reservation, but there will not be a "Filled" reservation.

Preprinted RAs

When a reservation is used to generate a preprinted RA, the reservation is counted as "Filled", and the RA is counted in the "Opens". If the customer does not pick up the vehicle, the Reservation will at some point be marked as a 'No Show'. If, after the reservation is marked as a No Show, the report is later run for the reservation's pick up date, the reservation will be counted as a No Show (not as a "Filled") and the RA won't be listed as an "Open". (The RA will be listed as a Void on the day it was voided.)

Coverage Revenue: Revenue from "L" type (LDW) and "C" type (Coverages other than LDW) options.

Total Revenue: RA Gross less: fuel charges, sales tax (Option Code TAX), foreign revenue splits, and pass through (chauffeur) fees.

This report contains a calculation of rental length called "DBR Days" (or just "Days"). One of two possible formulas are used in CARS+ to calculate this figure. To chose the formula to be used in this as well as over fifty other CARS+ reports, go to Page 5, Field 3 of Edit Miscellaneous Control Fields.

Reservation Build: This section shows the number of reservations for the Ending Date entered in Field 3 as well as the next 7 days after that. When this report is run for the current day or the previous day, this section shows the res. build for the next 7 days. If the report is run for a date in the past, it is dependent on figures from a program that typically runs automatically every night. Contact Thermeon's Customer Support Dept. to have "DOPUPD" set up for your operation.
